The National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) presents Robert Sabuda: Travels in Time and Space, an exhibition of original art and preliminary pieces from Mr. Sabuda's books, including pop-ups, to open in the NCCIL's gallery in Abilene, Texas, on Thursday, March 6, 2003. The artist will be at the NCCIL for the opening events, which will culminate on Saturday, March 8th, with a free children's event at 10:00a.m.; dolls based on the characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz will be for sale in addition to books, all available for Mr. Sabuda to inscribe.
