Mock Newbery Final Tally from the Bank Street College School for Children


A total of 64 kids voted. The discussion was very lively and the students had very strong opinions. My big surprise was the groundswell that started for Bloody Jack with only 3 copies circulating over the winter break.

The Winner was Hoot with close Honor books Bloody Jack and When My Name Was Keoko.
