I really enjoyed Anna Myers' TULSA BURNING, set in rural Oklahoma in 1921 around the time of a real-life Tulsa race riot. It's a powerfully emotional, utterly engaging novel about racism, courage, and the differences between fighting for justice and vengeance. Excellent book!
