Two YA books that came to my attention shortly before Christmas proved to be unstoppable reads. E.R. Frank's AMERICA was a stunning story of rising above loss, Chris Lynch's YOU THE MAN ?was a novel about learning to look beyond the obvious with a subtheme about making nonviolent choices.
