Please plan to attend one or more of the CCBc's annual award discussions. These discussions provide interested adults with the opportunity to discuss books eligible for several annual book awards using the specific criteria for each award. The following award discussions have been planned for late fall 2002, and early 2003:

Caldecott: Thursday, December 5, 5:10-9:10 p.m Coretta Scott King: Wednesday, December 11, 5:10-9:10 p.m Printz: Tuesday, December 17, 5:10-9:10 p.m Sibert: Friday, January 10, 3:30-5:30 p.m Newbery: Wednesday, January 15, 5:10-9:10 p.m

All discussions will be held in the CCBC's Elizabeth Burr Room. A discussion of books eligible for the Am?ricas Award will be held later in spring, 2003.
