Hmmmmm this is an interesting point that Jody brings up. It's similar to the movies as they come out before the Academy Awards. Do publishers have specific dates to shoot for in order to increase exposure? I know they recently started an advertising budget for that purpose, but in a sense it backfired and the book was an Honor winner. Great question Jody, I'll be chewing on it and the toffee.
