I would also add Rich Wallace, the author of "Wrestling Sturbridge," to the list of interesting new authors. "Sturbridge" was flawless, such a perfectly scripted book about high school. An even though it was "sport" centered, that didn't overshadow the story, only added to it. I did read
"Shots on Goal," Wallace's next novel, and though well-written I wasn't as moved by it as I was by "Sturbridge."
