Children's author and sometime-list-member Jane Kurtz is immersed in a project to get books into the hands of Ethiopian children, many of whom have never held a book in their hands outside of school (if there). The Christian Science Monitor just published an article about Gebregeorgis Yohannes and his work for the center and on publishing the first Ethiopian picture book.
