I'm de-lurking here as the discussion as switched to John Marsden. Can someone tell me how the sequels are to "Tomorrow When the War Began"? I had heard a lot about this series, it sounded just the sort of thing that I normally love to read, but I was less than impressed by the first book and never made it to any of the sequels. I liked the strong female narrator, but I found the other characters rather bland and difficult to distinguish one from the other. Should I persevere?
All the best,
Gillian Chan
