August 2002

Books for Babies and Toddlers. What authors come to mind when you are looking for outstanding books for the youngest children? What do you look for when you are evaluating books for this age group? From story books to concept books, original board books to traditional picture books, we'll look at the creators, content and format of books created especially for very young children.

September 2002

The Books of Virginia Hamilton. The children's literature world suffered a great loss when Virginia Hamilton died in February 2002.
