Once again, CCBC-Net has opened my eyes to another wonderful author. I just read M.E. Kerr for the first time at the recommendation of the members of this list. How did I miss her all this time? Actually, reading her made me feel as if I'd just met a new close friend. I don't know that our viewpoints are always the same or that we share many similar interests, but reading her (actually listening to her--I have to rely on many book on tape due to time constraints and bad eyes) makes me feel really close to her somehow. However, she's the only author I remember being so involved in that I truly forgot that I was driving, and this is not necessarily a good thing.
Thanks for another great find.
