At poetry writing sessions in schools I have done the pseudonymous read-aloud and have added a few favorite poets' works, one of my own, one by my highschool boyfriend...etc...announcing the real author once comments are finished--trying to let the kids see that criticism can be leveled at anything and has much to do with the assumptions of the reader as well as any grace of craft.
