After I posted my message about the benefits of shared laughter, I remembered Richard Peck's new book, Fair Weather. My raucous hoots made my sons and husband come running into the dining room where I was reading the book over my breakfast cereal. What's so funny? they wanted to know. I was laughing so hard I couldn't even tell them! You'll have to read this book, I sputtered.
Guess reading funny stuff to yourself can be almost as much fun as sharing.
