I always get the giggles when I think of my family reading Spinelli's Crash!, out loud in a restaurant. One daughter had it read out loud to her in school and she loved it so much she got it from the library. Her sister started reading it in the car on the way to a restaurant and ended up reading it out loud because we kept asking what was so funny. She was in stitches in the back seat. We brought it into the restaurant and kept on reading (and laughing) all the way thru dinner. Fortunately, it was a fairly busy and loud family restaurant, so we didn't stand out too much....
