O.K., o.k., I got off my lazy duff and went into my library and grabbed:

Christensen, Bonnie, WOODY GUTHRIE, Poet of the People (Knopf, 2001).

It walks right along with Betsy Partridge's superb biography.

Next time I'll not sit and try to reconstruct from this ancient brain.

When I taught in Italy, the young people and very young people just wailed out "This land..." with enthusiasm, love, and excitement whilst I played troubadoresse with the guitar. "My, wasn't that a time..."

Big Grandma (troubadoresse)
