I also think that we have to make sure that this discussion does not solely focus on biographies and histories.
I would really like to hear others' experiences and opinions on books on other topics. Has anyone read a good book on an insect recently? How about animal classification? And, a good book that explains Impressionism or Cubism? A wonderfully richly written book that can be understood by children about the concept of time or quantum physics?
Should we start again with specific titles?
