DISCUSS NEW BOOKS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS at monthly CCBC book discussions.

All CCBC book discussions are open to any adult interested in reading and discussing new books for children and young adults, including teachers, librarians, and university students and faculty.

Individuals wishing to participate should be familiar with at least two books on the discussion list for the month. It's OK just to read only the shorter or only the longer books and participate for only part of the discussion, if this suits your schedule and/or interests. Please consider joining us.

Discussions will be held in the CCBC's Elizabeth Burr Room, 4290 Helen C. White Hall, 600 N. Park Street, on the UW-Madison campus, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the following Fridays: April 12, May 3, June 7, July 12, and August 9. Reading lists are posted about one month in advance of each discussion at www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/up4disc.htm.

The books to be discussed each month can be found at the CCBC reference desk. You're welcome to read them at the CCBC. The CCBC is open seven days a week during the Spring Semester: Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 7:00; Friday 9:00 - 4:00; Saturday & Sunday 12:30 - 4:00.

You're also welcome to borrow one or more of these books on an overnight basis. Borrowed books must be returned to the CCBC on the following day shortly after the CCBC opens for public service.

No registration or fee is required.
