Roxanne, thanks for your good questions. We haven't heard how the German edition of How I Became an American is doing, but Marc will be speaking with the publisher, Beltz, when he's in Bologna next week. They had no problem with our adding text to the American version, as the decision was totally up to the author, who was in agreement that it was appropriate. In fact, Karin Gundisch told us she liked how our edition looked better than the original German one.
