Thank you to all who have contributed so far to our discussion of the Pura Belpre Award, and the importance of finding and publishing more Latino voices for the young.
We welcome additional comments on the Belpre award and these other important issues over the next two days. We also welcome your general announcements about upcoming events related to children's and young adult literature.
On Monday, we will turn our attention to the 2002 Michael L. Printz Award winner and honor books. You can find a list of them at www.ala.org/yalsa/printz
