Reading "Book of Coupons" aloud

Kathy and Dean discovered that reading "Book of Coupons" aloud proved to be satisfying. I'm not surprised about its general appeal for listeners.

Anyone else have an anecdote to share or a response to personally reading "Book of Coupons," or "How I Became an American" ??

Dean's comment that his message wasn't very "intellectual" reminds me to say that we welcome messages of any length and type from each of you, as long as they're civil. Widely varied commentary will make any CCBC-Net discussion a more valuable exchange for everyone. You don't have to be "informed" or "special" in order to chime in. We each know what we know from our own experience, and we're each eager to find out more. Thanks for taking time to write over the weekend, Dean, Robin, and Kathy.

Cheers, Ginny
