Hello everyone,

I've just joined the listserv and am looking forward to discussing children's books here.

I am a high school teacher by training. For the last ten years I have been living in Canada with my husband and young son. Since coming here from England, I have fulfilled a lifelong ambition to write, and have published three novels for young adults with Kids Can Press. The fourth will be published this fall, and is an historical novel set in WWII.

I read widely in the field. Current favourites are Nicky SInger's "Feather Boy" and I've just finished reading a whole slew of Tamora Pierce books, thoroughly enjoying her feisty sheroes!
