Question for Francisco Alarcon

Eliza Dresang had problems posting this question yesterday so I'm sending it.

Megan

Francisco: If you are still "listening in" and have time to respond, I have a query for you about Iguanas in the Snow.

I know that the typical way picture books are done is that the author writes, the publisher selects the artist, and the art work is done without consultation with the author. How did it work for you and Maya Christina Gonzalez with your season poetry books? Was it in the traditional manner described? Or did you work more collaboratively on the project?

Thanks,

Eliza
