Applications to host Maurice Sendak's 2003 Arbuthnot Lecture are due May 1! Illustrator/author Maurice Sendak will deliver his Arbuthnot lecture in the spring of 2003. The selected site will be announced at the A.L.A. meeting in June. Libraries, universities, and other institutions with an interest in children's literature are encouraged to apply to host this historic event. Sendak lecture are available at www.ala.org/alsc/applications.html or by sending your U.S.P.S. address to alsc at ala.org. The deadline for submitting applications is May 1, 2002.
