This message may be of interest to those of you attending the American Library Assn. Midwinter meeting in New Orleans.

The Collections of Children's Books for Adult Research Discussion Group will be meeting on Sunday, January 20, 2002 at 2:00 pm in the Vieux Carre Room of the Monteleone Hotel. The topic will be Ezra Jack Keats and we'll be discussing his work, his archive, some online resources for teachers and media specialists, and the wonderful work being done by the Keats Foundation.

Speakers will be Dee Jones, curator of the de Grummond Children's Literature Collection where the Keats archive is held and Mary Hamilton, formerly of the de Grummond Collection and now electronic services librarian. We'll have some free copies of the catalog that accompanies the exhibition, "Collage: An Ezra Jack Keats Retrospective", currently on display at the de Grummond Collection through July 2002.

We hope to see you there.

Dee Jones
