I agree with Steven....Tiger Rising seemed heavy-handed. I loved Because of Winn-Dixie, and "Tiger" had some wonderful moments, but I just didn't feel it the way I did with Winn-Dixie. I wasn't exactly sure why it merited the nomination, but I look forward to more of DiCamillo's works.
