I am always looking for good funny books and two authors that really caught my eye this year were:
* Polly Horvath, Everything on a Waffle (FSG)
* Susie Morgenstern, A Book of Coupons (Viking) and also her Secret Letters from 0 to 10 (Viking -- I believe out in paperback this year?). I haven't read 3 Days Off by Morgenstern yet.
I still haven't read all of the humorous books that look like they have possibilities to be loved by me, but you do the best you can. I was very excited to discover these two authors (I admit it I hadn't read the earlier Horvath until this year). I also enjoy Jacqueline Wilson quite a bit and this year several of her books were released in the U.S. and with the fun Nick Sharratt illustrations!
That's it!
