Confusion

This has been a particularly confusing year on many fronts. But I do question if library selectors are confusing the dog trot faux poetry of Hoberman's "You Read to me...." (Little) with Random House's "You Read to Me..." by Janet Schulman--a very different and much stronger kettle of fish. At a book review meeting yesterday, someone said that"You Read to Me..." by Hoberman was on ALSC's Notables (for consideration list). But it is the Schulman that is on the Notable consideration list.

By the way, the title comes from a John Ciardi poem from many moons ago.

Stay warm.
