I think I may have just found my favourite YA novel of the year. Up until last night I was wavering between True Believer and Troy, both worthy candidates. However, last night, I got to the bottom of my pile of library books and there was Black Mirror by Nancy Werlin. I had picked it up because I liked The Killer's Cousin but I couldn't seem to get into the mood to read it. I'm so glad I finally did. This was a great mystery, as well as a "coming of age / finding yourself" kind of book. As in The Killer's Cousin there was a great twist at the end which kept me from guessing everything ahead of time. I highly recommend it.
