I've not yet jumped into this months discussion because I didn't want to comment without having read "Enchantress...", which is still sitting unread on my nightstand. Sigh.
But as the month draws to a close, I want to belatedly respond to the concern, expressed earlier in the month, that fantasy can conflict with people's religious beliefs. I fail to see that as a "problem." Thank goodness for the expression of different perspectives, especially in the areas of philosophy and religion. And thank goodness for our political system, which allows those different perspectives to be freely shared in a variety of forums. If that's a "problem," we might as well pack it in. Neil Sklar
