I picked up Enchantress From the Stars last year at a used book store without knowing much about it. I recognized the author's name because of a fellow list member's recommendation.
I really enjoyed this book. I don't read much sci-fi at all but this was different. I liked the way the worlds all existed at the same time but were so different from each other. I definitely got the feeling that I was reading sort of a Star Trek novel. One of the strengths of the show, I think, is the focus on not making value judgements on other societies.
