I have noticed that authors and publishers are coming up with a great idea. The picture books my youngest daughter enjoyed reading, Berenstain Bears, Arthur, etc., are now printing chapter books. I think this is a neat way for children to be able to read their favorite books while fitting in with the pressure to read chapter books. I wish they had been available when she made the transition.
