[CCBC-Net] books for independent readers

I have these beginning chapter books in my "read-it-myself" section in my Everybody books in my school library: Nate the Great, Poppleton, Henry and Mudge, Minnie and Moo. I put a red dot on the spine to separate those from the regular picture books. I do keep those in a separate section. (I should identify them differently in my catalog, I know, since they are in a separate section.)

The beginning chapter books I keep interfiled in the regular fiction section but I put a green dot on those to signify them as shorter and easier to read. I especially love Junie B. (She moves to first grade in a new book out in November) and have most of the other series that have been mentioned. Has anyone said Pee Wee Scouts by Delton, Polk Street School by Giff, and Bailey School Kids by Dadey? Those are all popular at my school.
