Due to technical difficulties with our e-mail system here, an incorrect message was posted yesterday to CCBC-Net labeled SPRING Book Sale!

In fact, it is the upcoming FALL booksale that we want to remind you of. It will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Room 4207 Helen C. White Hall, on the corner of North Park Street and Observatory Drive. There will be a booksale in Spring, 2002--the date is yet to be announced.

Regarding the Oct. 20 sale:

Metered parking can be found on two levels below the building, bring quarters; or use the Lake St. ramp, about a 5 minute walk.

Everyone is welcome at the book sale!

The prices are terrific! Hardcover books: $3.50; paperbacks $1.50. Members of the Friends of the CCBC get a price break: $3.00 and
$1.00. There will be a table of $2.00 "specials." There are some free items, too.

Purchase orders are OK. Sorry, no charge cards accepted. An ATM can be found in the Memorial Union across the street.

Available all morning: brand new unused unmarked picture books in pristine condition that make great personal gifts and marvelous additions to libraries or classrooms.

For families, teachers and librarians there are many gently used recent and not-so-recent books not needed by the CCBC any longer: novels, picture books, biographies, and general nonfiction books for all ages of children and young adults.

Questions? Phone Pam Wittig (608?6F78). Long distance calls will be returned in the evening as collect calls.

Sorry for any confusion!

Megan
