Thanks, Robin--and this year the Bambino's revenge is in full bloom. Who will buy the mighty Red Sox? Who will manage? Would you?

Here's a note about being immortal. We all know that Matt Christopher passed on to that great arena in the sky. Yet--every now and again--too often again, I fear--more Matt Christopher's appear. They are written by others, but they are Matts.

Go figure.

"Baseball Saved Us" is a strong combination of history and sport.

Is John Tunis too old for young readers? I seem to recall reading Tunis books when I was in 4th grade. There really wasn't very much of holding quality other than those. Linda Perkins, manager of ch's services at Berkeley P.L. (CA), is the knowledgeable one about sports books.

Go--A's.

Thanks, Robin.
