The University of San Francisco's Center for International and Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults and the United States Board on Books for Young People will present Global Connections: USBBY IV/Reading the World IV, A Conference Celebrating Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults, October 12, 2001.
The conference will be held at the San Francisco Airport Marriott, and speakers will inlcude Carmen Diana Dearden, Nancy Farmer, Carolivia Herron, Virginia Euwer Wolff, Thatcher Hurd, Alma Flor Ada, Jack Zipes, Margaret Chang, and Theresa Breslin.
