While reading Make Lemonade, I wondered several times where the title came from, and what it had to do with the story being told. When Jolly related to LaVaughn what she had learned in her class (When life gives you lemons...) it really struck a nerve with her and made sense to her. That's exactly what she needed to do with her life. Make Lemonade. Great title!
