True Believer / Make Lemonade

In response to the grade levels most appropriate for True Believer and Make Lemonade, as an elementary librarian I feel they would be most appropriate for 7th grade and up. The reading level is not very difficult, however I don't believe most children younger than 7th grade will appreciate the stories and how wonderful they are.
LaVaughn is a strong female character, as is her mother. She knows what she wants and it will be interesting to see if she achieves her goals in the third book. I'll be waiting and watching for it to be published.
