Announcement: Peter Sis events in Madison in July

In conjuction with Peter Sis's Arts Institute residency on the Madison campus, there are a number of events open to the general public:
1) "Small Worlds: An Exhibition of Works on Paper by Peter Sis" -- at the Elvehjem Art Museum, June 27-Sept 2. http://www.lvm.wisc.edu/Exhibitions/PressRelease.asp?PIDB
2) Peter Sis Book Discussion at the CCBC, Weds July 11, 3:00-5:00 pm. Please see http://www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/sisdisc.htm for a list of discussion books and information about registering. Or call 608&3930.
3) The International Institute will hold a free public lecture by Peter Sis, "Czech Filmmaking and Animation: A Personal Journey" on Tuesday, July 24, 4:00 pm at the Pyle Center, 702 Langdon. This event is so-spondered by the Center for Russia, East Europe and Central Asia

4) There is still time to register for "Widening Worlds: The Picture Books of Peter Sis" an ITV course that will take place at 8 sites throughout Wisconsin on July 18, 8:30-2:30 pm. For more information, please see: http://www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/sis/main.htm

As one of the Arts Institute http://www.arts.wisc.edu/ partners, the CCBC is deeply involved with some of the plans for Peter Sis's residency.
