Ah! I for one am relieved to hear that the Cormier contributions will be given a wider idea jousting time--I was just thinking about that this morning and recalling my glee that he was to be a featured speaker at the last fall NCTE convention in Milwaukee. The announcement of his death grabbed at many of us in that November 2000 audience; his ideas are/werea major factor in English teaching for the past 30+ years. I wish I'd gotten to him to tell him how impressive those ideas/books were. Perhaps ccbc-net's next go at those books will send a salute to his spirit and some of us can try to put a few handles on it all.
