Marc Simont: continuing & Robert Cormier: postponed

As some of you know, we've had some technical difficulties with CCBC-Net, which is very possibly why we have not had many messages laterly.

As a result, we want to continue the Marc Simont discussion until the end of April. We had a great discussion of his new book The Stray Dog here at the CCBC last Friday, and we'll share some of those comments. Some of you will probably want to respond to the messages you've received during the month. It was great to hear from at least two of the people who have worked closely on the publishing end with Mr. Simont.

We'll re-schedule the discussion about Robert Cormier's books, which are too important to cram into a few days at the end of this month or any month. Stay tuned.

Please pay attention to Katy's recent message in which she reminded everyone that during MAY we plan to discuss the "Dark Materials" novels of Philip Pullman: The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass.

Cheers, Ginny
