One more comment about Many Stones, which I appreciated much more than I expected from the plot outline:
I thought the contrast between Berry's comfort in the weight of the stones and her delight in feeling weightless while floating was very nicely done. Having read it a month ago, in thinking back on the book I'm struck by the delicacy of the author's craft in contrast to the hard-hitting edge of Berry's fury and grief.
And thanks for re-posting the comments from January.
