Children's Literature New England will hold its fifteenth annual institute at Victoria University, Toronto, Canada, July 29 through August 4, 2001. The theme is "CONSIDERING BOUNDARIES": how young protagonists chart the territories of village, clan, family, and self; how they claim, erase, and transcend boundaries. Speakers include Susan Cooper, Brian Doyle, Sarah Ellis, Margaret Mahy, Naomi Shihab Nye, Katherine Paterson, Tim Wynne-Jones, and Virginia Euwer Wolff. Contact Martha Walke, Registrar, P. O.
