I recently finished Angus, Thongs & Full-frontal Snogging and really enjoyed it. There were times I laughed and times I empathized with the "real world" of a teen. I would recommend it to girls from 7th grade up because some of the character's experiences or insight can be better appreciated. Some of the "shared" moments might be too descriptive or too advanced for younger readers. But, again each reader is different. I didn't read Bridget Jones' Diary (this is supposed to be a youthful spin on it) but enjoyed this one. The British term translations in the back gave it a flavor all its own.
