Great story. Real characters who behave like real people. Fabulous language. The very first though I had when the awards popped up on my screen were,
"Joey would love it and would take all the credit!" Joey is as real as any child I know. Children who read about Joey love him. He is a hero. He makes all children who struggle to fit in and stay in control feel like heroes. He makes the "unwired" kids feel empathy for the
"wired" ones. The only thing better than reading the book is listening to the audio tape by Jack Gantos. Robin Smith
