It strikes me as grossly unfair to judge a book by the cover art. The writer has no control over the cover; sometimes never even sees it until the bound book is in his/her hands. If the book is good or excellent -by all the standards that we use; if the writer has written superbly -then how can any reasonable person let the cover art determine the value of the book?
