The following announcement may be of interest to writers in the CCBC audience: The challenge to write literature that will appeal to adolescents is a formidable one. Mount Mary College, 2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway, Milwaukee, will offer a course entitled ???Advanced Writing: Poetry, Nonfiction and Fiction forAdolescents??? in the Spring 2001 semester. The course, which can be taken for two or three credits, will meet on Wednesdays from 6:00 ??? 8:50 p.m., beginning January 24 and ending May 2.??The instructor for the course will be Ann Angel, who writes young adult and middle grade novels and has published fictionand nonfiction for regional and national publications.
