I just finished a wonderfully funny book. It isn't high literature, probably won't win any awards, it will definitely be dated in a few years, but I really enjoyed it.
The Princess Diaries. by Meg Cabot. The scene where Mia hits Lana with an ice cream cone is a hoot, especially when you consider the name of the cone is a Nutty Royale (which Mia definitely is.)
It's fun and fluffy and just what some young adults readers need!
