Mistake on map?

In the opening (and only) map tracing the protagonist's journey, Egypt is where the Meditteranean Sea ought to be. That is, Egypt is shown bordering Turkey to the south.
Marketing says it will be corrected in the second printing.
I think this is a very powerful book despite the mistaken map, which, I must confess, I did not look at until after I'd read the book.
