Though I'm not a librarian, I was immediately entranced, reading this morning's postings, with Steven Engelfried's practice of sorting the biographies of lesser known individuals by what they did -- i.e.
"inventors." I can't think of any better way to bring those biographies to the attention of teachers as well as parents! I would like to think that most librarians do this, but I wonder. And if they do not now, I hope they will!
