Regarding THE LONGITUDE PRIZE, please know that we will be publishing a 48-page picture book about John Harrison and longitude in Spring 2003. The title is SEA-GOING CLOCKS: THE STORY OF LONGITUDE, written by Louise Borden and illustrated in black-and-white and full color by Erik Blegvad. This shorter version of the story will lend itself well to being read aloud and shared in the classroom.
